Hi Folks,
I'm using Access 2002, and I have run into this problem numerous times, but
have decided I'm tired of using the task manager to overcome this.
When testing and debugging, I have a dialog form pop up, that contains a
"cancel" and "continue" button. if I run into an error, and jump into the
VB window, decide I want to stop the code from running and press the "stop"
button, I can't seem to use the dialog form, or close the DB...

I am running into one really big problem.
I wrote a script in vb.net to make a copy of folders and subfolder to
another destination:
- in 'from.txt' I specify which folders to copy
- in 'to.txt' I specify where to copy it
- After I read content of 'to.txt' I create one more subfolder named
by current date and thats where everything gets to be copied

Hi All,
I'm having a problem with the following code. I've read quite a lot of
old posts regarding the issue but none seem to affer a solution.
The scenario is. I have a bound form which contains a couple of memo fields.
I need to keep some sort of log as to when each update of the memo field
occurs so I have locked bot the memo fields on the main form. To edit them,

I have a form within my database which On Open (event procedure) will make many calculations and enter the results in text boxes on the page of the form (I have 2 tabs on this particular form). My problem is that every time I close the form a warning message pops up saying:
"The object is locked, so any changes you make will be discarded when the form is closed"
I have looked at all of the properties of the form but cannot see any obvious...

Because C# has no native SSH class, I am using SharpSSH. Sometimes, for
reasons I do not know, a Connect call will totally lock up the thread and
never return. I am sure it has something to do with weirdness going on with
the server I am talking to. Anyhow, this locked up state happens once in a
while (maybe once per day) and I can't figure out how to deal with the locked
up thread.
If I issue a Thread.Abort() the exception never...

when she got the message "ACCESS Error Number: 3218 Could not update;

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
