Panel control contains text box

i had put a panel in form and text box, label and numericupdown control in it.
Now i had use to send the form as me to some function byref then again from
that particular function i use to send the me as f to another function to
check some text box which are in pane control.

now when i try to check the values of text box if i had edited i dont get any
of the edited value to check bt i always get old values of textbox which are
in panel.

i use to access the panel control in this way

vctrl.controls. item(i).control s.item(j).text
vctrl is the System.Windows. Forms.Control
if i get panel which i use to check i go to that panel and check the text box
value.

it counts the no of controls ok it also gives me the control names when i run
this in loop

bt the problem is only the textbox ,numerice control values which are edited
i dont get what is the possible error.

is it the byref i m using 2 times when i pass me to one function it receive
as byref from that particular function i again pass me to another function
that is also byref.

what is possible problem in this case?

I am building an application that will fade one panel to another panel. Both panels will have picture boxes in them (thumbnails). This is what I have tried: private void fade(System.Windows.Forms.Panel fP){ for (int i = 255; i >= 0;i--){ System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(10); fP.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.FromArgb(i, 255,255,255); System.Windows.Forms.Application.DoEvents();

Hi, There is any chance to insert a control like a text box in a panel choosing the absolute position? When I try to insert a label , the panel positions the control on a locked position. Thanks Fabrizio

Hi, If I make a control that derives from panel, how can I persist the state of the controls that are inside the panel when it is not rendered (visible = false)? The reason for this is that I'm making a custom user control that derives from the Panel class. In the render method, I render some stuff and then I do base.render if the panel is to be visible. If it's to be hidden, I don't render it, but when I render it again, the controls...

I have a form where I have a treeview control in the left sidebar and then a panel next to it in the other pane. Based on user selection from the tree view, I would like the panel to display a certain html page that was created in Word as html. Currently I do have the treeview's nodes pointing to a URL, however for design asthetics, I would love to have the html page just open in this panel. How would I got about doing this and thanks...

Hi, I have a panel on my form. I want to detect when the user enters my panel with his mouse and when he leaves my panel. If the user hovers a control inside my panel, I get the mouseleave, which is understandable.

I’m using the Panel control that contains a PictureBox control (for implementing the http://www.codeproject.com/cs/miscctrl/PictureBox.asp). The Panel is set to AutoScroll = true. I wish to scroll the appearing vertical and horizontal scrolls bars of the Panel to the middle of their scrolling range so the contained PictureBox will be centered inside the Panel. But I could not find a way to get the scrolls bars for doing that.

I'm trying to figure out how to modify a panel (panel1) from a backgroundworker thread. But can't get the panel to show the new controls added by the backgroundwork task. Here is my code. In this code there is a panel panel1, that I populate with a lable in the foreground. Then when I click on "button1" a backgroundworker thread in async mode is started. When the backgoundworker thread completes the thread returns a panel to populate...

I have an asp.net page that contains an update panel. Within the update panel, controls get added dynamically. During partial page post backs the controls within the panel will change. I have a javascript function that uses the ClientID of the dynamic controls to perform certain operations on the client-side. With each partial page post back, I dynamically recreate the javascript function using the ClientIDs of the newly added controls....

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
