Hi,
I want to send a report from a windows application to a web page like
'report.asp'
Currently i can send it via post method with a context like
local=En&Username=fatih&UserId=45&Firm=none
But the problem occures when i want to send a data with & sign (i.e:
Firm=F&B). I try to solve this problem with using boundary, but i failed.
Any idea!?

I am using the System.Net.HttpWebRequest object to POST data to an HTTPS web
page.
Other than prefixing the URL with "HTTPS://", do I need to do anything in my
code to indicate that this is SSL?

can I do this from a asp.net page. I know I can send individual fields to the
other page, but how do I send a file to the other page, or is there something
else like a stream which will be like a file. I am attempting to get a way
from writing out a file and then having to give the page that I am posting to
the file name. Instead I would like to just from asp.net...

For some reason my service works fine except that it will create the
file in my c drive, but will not write to the file.
Sorry if this is a duplicate post, i have found some that ask the same
question - but noone seems to answer.
Do i need to do anything specific to write to a text file from a
windows service, much appreciated.

I have VB code in VS2003 which creates a HttpWebRequest and performs a POST
operation to a remote URL (an https site), which runs fine and receives a
valid response.
However exactly the same code in VS2005 (to the same site with the same
data) causes an exception 'The underlying connection was closed: An
unexpected error occurred on a send.'
Any ideas as to why and what I can do to get around this?

Hi,
I am trying to access a servlet hosted on Tomcat server using HTTPS
Post protocol. I am getting the exception:
"The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust
relationship with remote server".
Below is the code snippet. The same worked fine for HTTP POST. Then
when I configured the Tomcat server ffor HTTPS, and modified the code
by just changing the protocol from http to https. What more is to be

I am very stuck and have tried everything on this one!
I am trying to get to an https website and cannot work out how to
logon. When I log on manually, I have to enter username and password in
a dialog box.
I am trying to use Basic Authorisation to get in and everything I try
returns a 401 unauthoriased error. I am sure this should be simple :-(

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
