SystemParameter sInfo to Ccharp

GTi
I need the csharp (C#) function for this API function:

SystemParameter sInfo(SPI_GETWO RKAREA, 0, &rc, 0);

Or must I pInvoke this (also)?

My biggest problem with C# is to find the C# function for API functions?
Is there any help for this available anywhere?

the SystemInformati on class contains some of the details, and from the
looks of things what you're after (SPI_GETWO*RKAR EA). You'll need to
use interop for the other options that the SystemInformati on class
doesn't contain.

http://www.pinvoke.net/default.aspx/...ParametersInfo is the
interop definition.

I believe System.Windows. Forms.Screen.Wo rkingArea will get you what you
want. See
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en...AreaTopic3.asp
for more info.

There are also several overloads of
System.Windows. Forms.Screen.Ge tWorkingArea to return the working area based
on the object that is passed in. See
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en...gareatopic.asp
for additional info on that.

I'm using a SystemParametersInfo call to attempt to manage the screen saver. All I want to do is modify the ScreenSaveActive bit in the registry and have the OS recognize it (and occasionally set it back to -0-). Theoretically this should be easy to accomplish through the call shown below. If I trace the call with SysInternals (si)Registry Monitor I can see the call being made. Unfortunately in the si QueryValue for the key...

I need to disable the screen saver, due to an Excel "bug". I thought I had the following code working, but now all I get is code 127. I've searched the net and I don't see anything wrong with the following. public static extern int SystemParametersInfo(int uiAction, int uiParam, string pvParam, int fuWinIni);

Hello, I want to change the keyboard language. Does anyone have an example code in VB6 for that? I know already from MSDN that it should be possible with the SystemParametersInfo and the SPI_SETDEFAULTINPUTLANG and you have to use the HKL. But I really do not understand how to do that. I would be very grateful for help! BigWilli

Ok, so this isn't necessarily a programming issue, but anyways. I've managed to write that random wallpaper changer i've been wanting to make, but i've run into a little problem. According to the MS Knowledge Base, SystemParametersInfo() can't take a .jpg file as an argument when changing the wallpaper (it doesn't work, i've tried it), only .bmps so i'm stuck converting one of my many wallpapers from .jpg to .bmp, passing that to...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
