Hi,
I have been developing a Windows Forms application in Visual C#.Net 2005
Express Beta and wanted to deploy it. The beta edition doesn't seem to have a
setup wizard or the stated deployment options. I was wondering if its
possible before the official release.
Thanks 3 1291
am,
You could do it, but I wouldn't recommend it. The reason for this is
that the version number of .NET is going to change when the official release
is put out. I think that the next beta, they are going to encourage people
to actually release apps based on that version, so I would wait until then.

So, it is possible if we really need to deploy it?

Can anyone elaborate on any specific technique of deployment in Express Beta?

Hello,
I recently downloaded 'Microsoft Visual C# 2005 Express Edition Beta'.
It's been brilliant, but I couldn't help wondering what more you get
when you buy 'Visual Studio .NET'. There must be some considerable
advantages of using it considering its price.
So I'm asking you what 'Visual Studio .NET' has, that 'Microsoft Visual
C# 2005 Express Edition Beta' doesn't have (apart from the fact 'Visual
Studio .NET' allows you to program...

Apologies if this is a known issue, but I couldn't seem to turn it up
with google or on Technet.
I am using Visual C# 2005 Express, Beta 2. I am learning C# and have
come to the point in the book I am reading, which covers form
inheritance. Granted, the book is for Visual Studio 2003, but it
directs me to use a menu item called "Add Inherited Form," available on
the Project menu. This menu item, however, does not appear for me. I...

Hello.
When it comes to Win32, Visual Studio .NET 2005 Express Edition Beta 2
only allows the creation of console-based applications. What if one
wanted to create MFC-based applications and, at the same time, be able
to take advantage of the powerful and conforming C++ compiler that comes
with the package? I hope that resorting to Visual C++ 6.0 is not the
only option.
Thank you,

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
