Vimal,

When it are real 5 numbers in a sequense, just using the arraylist "removat"
in a for().

Don't forget always to start with the last otherwise you have to do it in
your example 5 times with the same indexnumber.

I hope this helps?

Hi I'm still having some problems getting my head round this language. A couple of things don't seem to work for me. First I am trying to obtan a count of the number of words in a sting, so am using the split function with ' ', but how do i get it to take into account punctuation marks such as ',',',' etc? Also I am then trying to add contents of an array of strings to an arraylist, but only if the string isn't already there. I was using...

My user control has a combobox with an arraylist attached to it along with custom add and remove methods. The "Add" method is working great. However I don't understand why the "Remove" method isn't working. It neither removes the item from the arraylist nor from the combobox like it's supposed to do. A couple of notes: cbx is the name of the combobox within my usercontrol, file is the name of the arraylist within my usercontrol. To try...

I use the following example (from another post) and it seemed to work fine. However, when I add the syntax to remove the selected item from the senderbox, I got error. senderBox.Items.RemoveAt(senderbox.selectedIndex) I was told that I need to copy selecteditems to an array and run the For each routine from the array instead. Can someone please give me some idea on how to accomplish this? Thanks a million.

Hi All I'm planing to write an application which allows users dynamically add their points (say you can add upto 30,000) and then draw xy graph. Should I use an array for my coordinate point storage and dynamically resize it when there is a new point or should I use ArrayList? Is speed noticable between the two? Regards,

Hi, I have declared array as Int ids = new int; In ArrayList we can remove specified index using RemoveAt(5) method. My question is how can we do this one with int array (single dimensional array) or else is there any alternative solution for this? If anybody knows the solution pls let me know.

I have a loop that is set to run as long as the arraylist is > 0. at the beginning of this loop I grab the first object and then remove it. I then go into another loop that checks to see if there are more objects that match the first object that i grabbed. If they match then I put them in an array. I would like to remove each match from the arraylist as I find them to speed things up and so that they don't get checked again. If I try...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
