Embedded WinForm in IE crashes...

Hello,

I have a WinForm control embedded in IE that crashes everytime I close
my browser. If i click on a link in IE when the control is loaded and
brings me to another page, IE also crashes. I don't get any debug
errors from IE itself (via IEDebug). Does anyone have any idea why
this would happen? As a standalone App, my control works fine. Is IE
treating my control any differently?
Thank you in advance,
Marco

I have a dll/so which embeds python. I can verify it works by compiling it as an executable and adding an appropriate main. I tried to write unit tests for this library with ctypes and a simple python script. Access violations and other strange things result. I suspect this is because I am basically embedding python in python at this point....

Hi, I'm creating an embedded control for IE in VS 2005. For testing purpose, I have left the user control completely blank and only changed the background color. When navigating to the page containing the control, it shows up very briefly (I see a square with the selected color) but then IE crashes, giving me the "send error report to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
