I'm trying to make a form that can be sized vertically but not
horizontally. Any pointers?
First attempt was to
set the form's FormBorderStyle = Sizeable
set the form's MaximumSize.Wid th to the fixed width
Unfortunately, the users still sees these cursors, SizeNESW, SizeNWSE,
and SizeWE. Also, they can size the form vertically by grabbing one
of the East/West borders near the North/South edge. I'd prefer to not
have that behavior, only the North/South borders should actually size
the form.

it horizontally, it'll instantly spring back to your desired width. That
said, an application with this behaviour would prove very annoying and many
people would uninstall it.

I do not have the problem you mentioned because (oops I should have written

I'm attempting to create a tabbed box with CSS and Javascript and am having
some problems. I have three tabs and three tab content areas. When the page
is loaded, two of the three content areas are set to "display:none;". When a

It looks like when I make a Form resizable and/or hit the maximize button
that it shows garbage (unitialized memory) for the new portions of the form
and then fills it in with background color. It only shows it very briefly,
but it's VERY visible during this time.
This happens with re-sizable forms too. And it 'feels' like re-sizing is
'jerky'; that is, lags a bit from my actions. I turn off visiblity to the
controls on the form while...

I want to implement the following:
If the user clicks on the border of a form, then I want to show a box around
the form that represents the form's bounds. As the user moves the mouse only
the box's bounds would change. When the user releases the mouse the form's
bounds would be set to the bounds of the box. Note that this is very similar
to how the Splitter control works.
Does anybody know how to do this?

Hi all,
I want to prevent the user being able to vertically size a control, in
the same manner that single line textbox and autosize labels do.
I can override SetBoundsCore which prevents the actual sizing but the
vertical resize grips still show for the user, even though they have no
effect.
Any ideas appreciated.

Hi. I am stumped. I have a form that when opened via logic (VBA
OpenForm) the screen appears to flash but the form does not appear.
I've traced and it certainly goes to the form's module and the Form_Open
and Form_Load routines...but it doesn't appear.

With A2003, WXP, whenever I go into the Code Window (from Design View) and
then close out of the Code Window, back to Design View and then to Form
View, my form(s) are always cut short horizontally. I must then drag the
right and/or left vertical edge of the form "outwards" to pull it back to
its
original proper size. Is this just my Access/Windows 'misbehaving' or has
