When setting certain datagrid properties with the IDE (as in the property
window), they don't seem to take effect. For instance, Font Name. So I
have to set these via code-behind at the cell level. Is this expected?
Shouldn't anything on the properties window render accordingly? Thanks

I have a datagrid with the first column as a Edit,Update,Cancel button
column. The other 5 columns are template columns. When I click the Edit
button in IE6 the row correctly displays the controls defined in the

Is there a way to carry data that I have already read from the datagrid from
page to page?
I am looking at my Datagrid that I page through and when the user says get
the next page, I have to go to the database to get the next page. Is there
a way to use the dataset to allow us to read back and forth in it instead of
going back to the database to get it?

Hi.
I have a DataGrid control that has one HyperLinkColumn, and this page has a
"default.css" loaded, so, the link Style of the DataGrid is the same of the
css document... but I want to change it, the link style of the Datagrid must
be different from the others.. Even if I set all the format of the datagrid,
everything changes... except the link style. Anyone know any way to fix this?
I do not know even if I could do this in the css...

Using VB .NET 2003 and ASP1.1, I have a Datagrid embedded in an ASP page. In the processing of the ItemDataBound event I dynamically create a new Datagrid control within the Cell of the Parent (this refelect GUI'wise a Parent Child related data). I also add Handlers to the sub datagrid using AddHandler to handle the EditCommandColumn as well as ItemDataBound.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
