A question about CheckedListBox.

A partial answer to your question:

The 'MultiColumn' property of a CheckedListBox does not
cause it to display multiple FIELDS of an item... it
causes it to display the items themselves in multiple
columns.

In other words, if you have 20 items in your Items
collection, they will normally display in a single
vertical list. If you set MultiColumns to True, they will
display in multiple columns across the listbox... say 5
columns of 4 items each (obviously depending on the height
and width of the CheckedListBox) .

Please pardon what is probably a dumb question, but I am having some troublewiht my CheckListBox in my c# Windows Forms application.

My goal is a table like display, with 4 columns including the checkbox, thedata item name, and 2 dates.

I have to query 3 tables in my database and assemble the DataTable by hand,but I do this successfully, and I am able to look at the contents of myDataTable in debug mode.

I then use the following line to assign my DataTable to my CheckedListBox:JobList.DataSo urce = JobsTable;

My problem is that in my application, I get my list, and it has the 5 itemsthat my database lists, but it has just one column (despite being set tomulticolumn) and they all say System.Data.Dat aR, which I assume is supposedto be System.Data.Dat aReader. Help!
