I'm working with the NetworkCredential class.
I'm making the correct call and it returns that everything is okay
using:
NetworkCredential sc = new NetworkCredential("MyAccount", sPassword,
myURL);
However, I then need to make a call using HTTPS to a URL which changes
the password. For example:

Greetings,
I have been searching the web like mad for a solution to my SMTP problem. I
am using Windows Server 2003 and ASP.NET 2.0 w/ C# to send out e-mails from a
web site I have created to the members of my organization. I think my problem
is incorrectly setting the settings on my server or an authentication
problem. Here is the code I have written to send a test message:

I get this *intermittently* on a utility I am working on. I don't know whats
going on but here are a few points about it:
- using VS 2005, running on xp sp2
- program uses multiple threadpool threads
- only happens when built with the 'release' configuration (no debug flag,
compiler optimizations in effect) - no problems in debug config
here is the error:
Unhandled Exception: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or

Hi,
Has anyone successfully used the FTP stuff in the System.Net namespace
against a VMS FTP server?
I'm trying to do this at the moment and can't even get a directory listing,
although there are no problems using the Chilkat FTP component, or
connecting and browsing manually with a variety of FTP clients.
The code I'm using is:

Hi,
I am trying to put together a small app that uses one of my company's
web service. Originally I interfaced with this web service using java,
and have the example code. I believe the web service was written with
java. Since this web services uses soap I should have no problems
consuming it from other languages, although I'm having a problem
with .net.
The web service requires authentication. I tried adding the

Hi all
I am having trouble with sending email via a C#2.0 application, I use
the same settings as I use in Outlook but I cannot get email to send.
I am trying to use SSL on port 465 and get the error below, If I disable
SSL and use port 587 all goes well.
I have been Googling for 2 days without success and this seems to be a
common problem.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
