Hey,
I'm writing a program which will run on a PDA equipped with a GPS link.
I'm trying to read data from the GPS-device, but so far I've been out of
luck..
(OS: Windows CE - coding language: C# - GPS device: HI-303MMF - PDA:
COMPAQ iPAQ)

I was wondering if there is any way for me to read the device manager in my
C# program? I have a program that crashes when some third party hardware is
not installed or is set to the wrong port and I could solve that problem if
I could read a couple entries from the registry.

Hello Group,
I am using the RASAPI to dial-to the internet using a GPRS modem using
C#.
Is it possible before dialling to retreive information about the COM
port that the modem is connected for the RAS entry in the phone book.
What I mean is I have two entires, Entry A and Entry B using devices
on COM 1 and COM 2 respectively.

I have an application that interfaces with a USB device using the .Net
serial port. The code works fine, displaying live data on the screen;
that is until the USB lead is pulled out from the PC when the program
hangs.
The obvious answer is not to pull the lead out, but unfortunately the
application is one in which there is a high possibility the lead will
be pulled out so the code needs to be more robust.

I have a USB modem stick and a PoE network device. I want to connect the device to the Internet using the USB stick. The device has no other interfaces, so I must use its RJ-45 port. I tried The following:
Plugged the device into a PoE injector on the data-out port and using a USB-to-Ethernet adapter I connected the USB stick onto the data-in port of the injector.
