Problem with adding a reference to a shared assembly

I am using Visual Studio .NET 2003 under Windows XP Pro.
I had created a shared assembly and assigned it a Strong Name. I have
installed the assembly in the GAC (c:\WINDOWS\ass embly) with the .NET
Configuration tool. Up to now it looks OK.
From my client, I have tried to add reference to that assembly in the GAC
(Project --> Add Reference). I have selected the .NET tab, pressed the
Browser button, picked the c:\WINDOWS\asse mbly directory and selected the
desired shared assembly, but the Open button is disabled. Even if another
assembly is selected, the Open button is still disabled.
I am stuck. I can't add the shared assembly to my client.
Can anybody help?

You can't reference assemblies directly from the GAC. You'll have to
have another copy of the assembly elsewhere in the filesystem and
reference that copy.

Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
