how do I force a console application to be minimized?

How do I force a console application to be minimized upon launch?
I have a C# application which starts a console application via the following syntax: System.Diagnost ics.Process.Sta rt("Console.exe ")
I can't seem to find the compiler options to allow this to be minimized. Any help
Thanks.

You have to use the "ProcessStartIn fo"
and either set "WindowStyl e" to "Minimized" or set "CreateNoWindow " to
"true".

I am attempting to install the MSDE (SQL 2000) as a part of our application. This requires that you run the MSDE setup.exe program from a Console mode application, it just hangs forever part way through if executed from a standard application. My question is: How can I make my console mode install application resize it's window or minimize. The code below is what I'm currently trying which doesn't work... the Console BOX stays full...

Hello, I recently completed a MC++ (VS2003) DLL that wraps a non MFC C++ DLL and need to use it in a MC++ Console Application (no forms/guis of any kind just output to console). Trouble is that when I ran it and looked at memory usage (in Windows task manager) it looked as if there was a very slow leak. To isolate the issue:

I have written a C# based console application. Due to some issues thats been causing me endless nightmares, I was wondering, is there a way to prevent right mousebutton clicks on my application when it appears on the task bar? I don't want the context menu showing up when a user right clicks on it. I don't want the user to be able to do anything with it other than stare at it in its minimized form. I know we can P/Invoke into some...

Dear all, I'd like to know if there is any method to minimize command mode window when a console program is running. In my case, there are several console programs which run periodically in server. Now, every console program instance will open a command mode window and they occupy the whole screen. I want to minimize all of them and maximize it if neccessary by manual. Is it possible and how to do it? I'm using VB.NET 2005. ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
