Is there a way to code the button that's available in the query
window--microsoft excel icon that exports to excel. I know
transferspreadsheet will do this---but I want the query, which is in a
pivot table view, to be exported as a pivot, not just a data list.
Does this code exist? Is it transferspreadsheet but with a twist?

Hi,
I get this exception on trying to use a COM C++ X.dll.
I have a c# app which calls another C# assembly which is supposed to use
this COM dll.
I have gone out of my way to change the references on both the C# projects
and rebuild a thousand times and search for all those interops on my systems
and override those with the correct one and still I get this error!
At first I was building in Release and at some point the problem was...

I have a .Net assembly that exposes functionality to COM through the
use of a ComClass.
The assembly is installed using an MSI which automatically registers
the assembly for COM interop.
My problem is that when a user views the assembly through object
browser, the automatically generated classes connected with a web
service appear.

I have a VB.NET console application that uses the Excel PIA. I set it up to
run on a W2K box through Task Scheduler, under a domain account that has
rights to all of the resources the app uses. I can run this application on
my local XP machine with no problem. However, on the W2K machine I received a
"No printers are installed" error:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800A03EC): No printers are
installed.
The app sets...

Hi,
Im not very experienced with XSL, this is my first run in with it. I found an XSL file that converts a dataset to an excel readable format.
The problem I have is when the dataset has a null value for a column, it does not add an empty element for the column. Is there any way I can detect this?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
