Hi, I have an report in Microsoft Access and it displays everything in
the table. One column called "DECISION" in the table has either 1,2,
or 3 in it. On my report it displays 1, 2, or 3. I want to appear in
the report is Yes, No, or Maybe. What do I need to do to change what
appears in the report/what term do I need to search out in Google?
Thank you
Colin

I have a table "tblmaintabs" that stores data that is collected from various
companies on a quarterly basis in March, June, September and December each
year (these dates are stored in a Date/time field called txtmonthlabel
formatted mmmm yyyy). I am trying to create a report that shows the figures
for the same quarter last year and the figures for the year to date this
year and last year. The value is shown on the report in the control...

Hi,
I have been given the task of building a client side report builder in
VB.NET. The GUI will have to be for the not-so-computer literate type of
user. I was thinking about making the GUI similar to the one in the MS
Access design view for queries.
Does anyone know of examples, resources, or any other type of help that will
assist me with this task. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to compile report builder into a Forms based application? If
that is not possible is there a way of including it with the install so its
at least installed at the same time the application is. I would prefer not
to use the OneClick install from the Report Services due to the many
problems.
Regards,
John

Hi,
I have several reports ( .rdl) that I created using report designer, how can
I let the end user make modifications to the text in some of these reports.
As I am unable to use Report Builder to modify reports ( .rdl ) created with
Report designer, what are my options. is there a way I can embed the report
designer within my c# winform application. I have tried converting/creating
a report builder version but with no success..

Hello Experts,
I am using Oracle Report Builder 10g for creating reports. I am saving all reports in JSP format. when I run it withing report builder it works fine.
I want to enclose this JSP in my web application, when done it gives run time errors.
Is there any setting that i need to do to run JSP created through Report Builder within an web application.
Because it is just a JSP page it should work. but not working .

Does anyone have a good suggestion?
I am currently using Eclipse Europa with the C-Development Toolkit (plus
gnu-toolchain under cygwin) and the Widestudio Native Application
Builder plugin.
While I am surprised I actually got this configured and running, it has
some things that I do not like too much - especially a couple of bugs
(build tools vanishing from the builder settings upon switching between
projects, for example). And then...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
