System.Runtime. Remoting.Channe ls.Http

For some reason I cannot access this in CSharp - neither with using or
directly in the code?

System.Runtime. Remoting.Channe ls on the other hand is fine, but no
Http.anything works.

Any thoughts, helps, guidance, hints, or pointers are greatly appreciated!!

Knut,

The classes in the System.Runtime. Remoting.Channe ls.Http namespace are
in System.Runtime. Remoting.dll. Are you sure that you have a reference set
to that assembly?

Also, do you have the using declaration (in case you are using
shorthand) declared correctly?

Hope this helps.

I have seen the posts on various places on the internet about .NET framework mismatch issues and I don't think that is my problem. ; ) When I execute the following C++.NET code: String *ipAddress = S""; IDictionary *server_config = dynamic_cast<IDictionary*>(ConfigurationSettings::GetConfig("ServerAddress") ); ipAddress = dynamic_cast<String*>(server_config->get_Item(S"IP"));

I'm trying to use a Web Service to be a Remoting client of an existing ..NET 2.0 server. But I get the following error when I try to use System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.Http in my WebService. The same code works fine in a standalone app. I have inspected System.Runtime.Remoting.dll with ildasm, and I can see the ....Channels.Http namespace there. I verified that the virtual directory is configured to use v2.0.50727 (the error message...

I've read several posts out there that state that setting typeFilterLevel="Full" on the client and/or server will correct this issue, however I'm still unable to get around it. I can successfully create the object, and set properties that have primitive types, but when I go to set a property that is an instance of another remote object, the above error is thrown. Is there something special I need to do in order to be able to set properties...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
