Hello,
I got a weird problem and need your help and ideas...
I´ve written an php application which imports data in XML format and
writes this data to a MySQL database to have a faster access.
The application uses Expat 1.95.7 via php to render the xml data.
First everything seemed to work fine. But now I noticed that something

Hello,
I have an Access 2003 report that opens in print preview and then
maximizes upon clicking a button from a form. The OnClick event of the
button fires a macro to open the report.
How can I use the NoData event of the report to present a message box
( with vbOkayOnly) so that when the button is clicked, if the report
returns no data a message box appears, and the report never opens?
I've tried the following in code with the...

The problem that I am now having, involves refreshing controls. I have allot of text boxes, several combo boxes and grids. These controls are showing live data from an Oracle database. I have dates in a combo box in my tool bar that are associated with the particular report that the user is opening. When the user picks a different date all of the data in the controls should reload. I originally built an SDI application but needed my tool bar to...

I would like to parse a couple of tables within an individual player's
SHTML page. For example, I would like to get the "Actual Pitching
Statistics" and the "Translated Pitching Statistics" portions of Babe
Ruth page (http://www.baseballprospectus.com/dt/ruthba01.shtml) and
store that info in a CSV file.
Also, I would like to do this for numerous players whose IDs I have
stored in a text file (e.g.: cobbty01, ruthba01, speaktr01, etc.)....

Ever since I successfully applied some techniques for increasing the
speed of my 17 meg. Application; it has only made me hunger for more.
First, let me list what I have done so far:
1. Split the application and database into front and back-ends,
2. Increased the load-time of my application by "pre-loading my
heaviest forms when the database is initially opened,
3. When forms do open, under, "Filter Lookup" I use, "Never",
4. I set...

I am stuck.
I have a report that I use in multiple places, so I call it with
varying parameters (using the Where Clause in the code).
I preview the report, send it to snap, then close the preview (the
user can go to the server to see the snap view). Print, snap, then
close is the only way I can snap with a Where clause.
If there is No data that meets the criteria, I can cancel the print,

I'm not sure if you are able to bypass Outlook (and have Python fetch the
mail itself using poplib), but if you are, the following code might be
useful. I use this to pry apart emails which might contain multiple MIME parts.
from email.Parser import Parser
from rfc822 import parseaddr
import poplib

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
