I'm trying to use the DrawText() method to draw some very long string
text on the Panel with AutoScroll enabled. However, for some unknown
reasons, I could not trigger the ScrollBar to show up.
Here is the simplicied section of drawing code:
private void panel_Paint(object sender,
System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventArgs e)
{
panel.AutoScroll = true;

I have a form with a panel. On that panel I am adding a bunch of
usercontrols . I add the controls when in the forms constructor.
The panel has autoscroll set, and when I resize the form the panel scroll
shows up.
But when I first show the form, there is no scrollbar on the panel.
How do I make the panel show the scroll bar when the form appears.

Hello !
I'm trying to combine an external (not part of the panel)
vertical scrollbar (VScrollBar) with a panel in order to
scroll the content of the panel vertically using the external
VScrollbar. I can't set the "AutoScroll"-property to true and
then use the generated scrollbars inside the panel,
because i have to use this external scrollbar which is a
modified/customized scrollbar, and doesn't look like a
standard scrollbar.

Hi,
I have a panel on a form that contains a number of controls (all created at
design time), so many that the panel has a vertical scrollbar in order to
view all of them (panel1.AutoScroll = True). When the form first loads, the
panel's scrollbar automatically scrolls to about the middle rather than
staying at the top. After moving the scrollbar to the top, I click on one
of the controls, and a dialog box appears to allow me to edit...

I discovered something very interesting today, and it will save me a
bunch of time...maybe.
If you set Panel1.Autoscroll to true, and have a panel2 inside of it, I
can add all sorts of controls at runtime, and panel1 will develop
scrollbars to take all of this into account. Except for 1 little
really annoying feature.
When it displays vertical scrollbar (which is good), that space that is
taken up by the vertical scrollbar now makes...

Hi,
I have a Panel with the AutoScroll property set to True and many TextBoxes
into it, with only some of them positioned in the visible portion of the
panel.
Is there a Panel event that I can handle when I tab from textbox to textbox
and the panel has to scroll *automatically* from the current position to
bring the focused control into view ?
I know it is possible to use the Enter event of each textbox, but I must
execute a time...

Hi all,
I am using panel with autoscroll = true in C#
I have added dataGridView control inside panel.
When the height and width of dataGridView increases and becomes more than panel size, scrollbars of panel are enabled.
When i scroll using any scrollbar and click on the dataGridView which is inside panel, the position of the scrolled scrollbar changes automatically and scrollbars goes to start position.

Hello all.
I have developed one user control "Grid" in C# and I am using it in another user control inside one panel.
The AutoScroll property for the panel is enabled.
When the height or width of "Grid" increases and becomes more than panel size, scrollbars of panel are enabled.
When I scroll using any scrollbar and click on the "Grid" which is inside panel, the position of the scrolled scrollbar changes automatically and...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
