Hello,
I work for a very small trading firm. We are thinking of developing our own
trading application to automatically make spread trades on the e-cbot
platform. We are somewhat unsatisfied with our current application that
performs this functionality.
We will want a windows-based interface to these trades that provides a Depth
of Market view of price activity. This interface will allow one-click
trading on a spread ratio that will...

I'm trying to program something along the lines of a "trading card"
idea: I have a single copy of the "card" in the program, yet there may
be multiple "instances" of the "card", with differing information (such
as the owner of the "card") in each instance.

Greetings,
For those who want to be/already are quants or software engineers in
financial firms, does any of you happen to know some resources about
C++ real time programming for trading system? I know it requires
knowledge in TCP/IP protocols, multithreading and messaging, primarily
socket level based. But I would like to know whether there are some
resources, like books or open source projects. Just want to pick it up
asap.

At the moment I have about 40 databases scattered all over. What I would like to do is to make a main page for all of the databases sorted by departments. My question is that if I do this, can I still keep the securities seperate for the people who can access which ones? Can I open misc databases inside of others or will I have to create the whole front end as on. We do not use the access securities we use active directory for that. I am using...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
