I am creating dynamic Link buttons on my intranet site

Hi folks!
I'm new to this forum. I've programmed in VB starting
w/VB1 about 9 years ago! ;) Certainly most time spent
in VB6. Now trying to make the leap to VB.NET. Much
harder than I thought it would be. For now, I need to
know how to change the foreground and background colors
on labels and buttons. I used to be able to do this in
VB6 but cannot seem to get it to work in VB.NET. Any
suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Hello everybody,
A couple of years ago I wrote a program in VB6. Using the designer I could
align my labels to the right. When the text of the labels would change, the
autosize feature would kick in and resize the lables to the left.
But with vb.net it isn't possible anymore to get the labels aligned right
using Format -> Align -> Right and stay like that at runtime.
I tried using the anchor, docking and tablelayout panel, but none of...

Does anyone know of a way to read text labels from a Win32 application.
I am familiar with using pywin32 and the SendMessage function to
capture text from Buttons, text boxex, comboboxes, etc, however, the
text I am would like to capture doesn't appear to be in a control.

Assume you want to dynamically add one to many link button controls to a web
page dynamically at run time. Each link button needs to post back and
execute code. As the link buttons are created at run time and the number may
vary, we can't statically tie to the event to a control. I'm assuming I
need to dynamically add event handlers at run time, and that one method
could act as the event handler, with unique event args being created for...

I've read quite a few different message on various boards and for some
reason I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around this viewstate
maintenance and trying to get these dynamically created link buttons
to stay wired up to their click events.
I have what is basically a simply survey question generation page. The
page first displays a few static fields and a dropdownlist of various
options for the user to select. When the user...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
