Hi all, I have read a lot of postings and web pages about drag and drop and treeviews, but could not find an answer to my problem. Sorry, if I missed something. I am trying to drag and drop treenodes defined by myself and don't understand, how to get the nodes data in the dragdrop event. I'm not very experienced in .NET and for sure there is a simple solution. I've written a short sample program, based on well known examples,

How do I navigate through records using drag 'n' drop controls? I have an example in C# for Windows forms that relies on BindingContext but this is not available for ASP.NET. How do I solve that problem? PS: I don't need a code example showing me how to do it without drag 'n' drop because I already know how. I WANT to learn how to do it with drag 'n' drop.

I have posted this request on several groups but not yet found anyone who has experience the problem. Hopefully this group may be more appropriate for the post. I run VB.NET in Windows 2000 Professional. The problem is that if I place a Tab Control on a Form and then Add controls to the TAB pages (Such as Textboxes, comboboxes etc). I cannot delete them or the control. This occurs duing DESIGN time while trying to pay out the form.

Hi all, I'm using Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition. When developing a web page, the software won't allow me to use any controls from the standard toolkit. I can drag and drop HTML controls, but not standard controls. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem ? I've tried repairing the software, repaired the .net 2.0 framework, and repaired the .net 2.0 SDK, no luck. Any suggestions would be helpful. Regards,

I've inherited a body of C# code that has a 'Designer Host' (DH) based UI. Custom controls are selected from a 'toolbox' window and placed/sized in the DH interface. I'm trying to add a feature that allows the user to drag data, specifically a string, from another window to one of these controls, without success. Part of the control definition is: public class TactControl : UserControl {

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
