.NET graphics book

Does anyone have any opinion about this book:

".NET Graphics and Printing"
Peter G. Aitken
ISBN 1931097043

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1931097046/

Can someone new to both Windows graphics and .NET pick up both at the
same time using this book?

I am particularly interested in whether this book covers printing, for
example.

I certainly recommend this book. There are some very positive reviews
including praise of the subsection on Printing on the Amazon site.

Ok. You've just volunteered!

I write code and I freely admit my webmaster skills are crap because It's
way down on my list of things to do.

Crank me out a new look and feel that does the trick and I'll leave a link
on the site that directs all the thousands of people who come to my site to
yours.

Are you up for the challenge?

What's wrong with his presentation? So far, I haven't had any problems
finding what I want to look up using his GDI+ FAQ. He doesn't cover the
entire GDI+ Namespace and doesn't claim to. But, all in all, he has a LOT
of useful information there and easy to access too.

At the moment I'm using Borland's C++ (http://www.borland.com/products/downloads/download_cbuilder.html#) I want to be able to take an array of points and plot them on the screen. Is there a way to do this? E.g. I want to be able to graph a function. At this point I'm not up to a level in C++ where I want to start learning Visual C++ so I don't want to go that route. Thanks

I am using the Microsoft Press training kit for the Framework 2.0 exam. It has the following example for putting text into a font and drawing it. I created a new Windows Application. But where do I put the code? The book does not say -it assumes the reader knows. I tried the form.load event and the form.paint event, but I get an empty form when the program runs. Dim g as Graphics = me.CreateGraphics Dim f as Font = New Font("Arial",...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
