ReportViewer in Visual Web Developer

Hello everybody,
I have a simply application with Visual Web Developer 2008 and SQL express
2005. I would like to make a local report using reportviewer control.
If I place the control on the page and try to click in the Smarttag on
"Create a new report" - it happens nothing! The control has a version number
9.0.0
Please help me!

Uta when you say nothing happens.Do you meant it hanged?
If thats the case then your Visual Web Developer 2008 might be the problem.
Can you create webforms etc.?

no, it did not hang. I can create webforms and entire applications with SQL
Server 2005. But only reporting does not work.
Thanks
Uta
