an applied pattern question

Hi.

I have a system that generates a dynamic page based on the incoming
requests.
So, a person may request a certain product that belongs to a
particular family of products. The family defines what categories of
information will be shown and the overall format. The categories are
implemented as user controlls and the format using master pages. The
twist is that a particular product maybe missing one or more the
pieces of information (e.g., they may not have photographs).

I've used a front page controller to pull the data and determine what
information categories to inject into the master page containers. I'm
planning on migrating my conditional logic into command patterns that
call factories. If I alway's know the product will return all the
information categories, the architecture above should work fine. How
do I deal with the variability?
