Returning Contents of Remote Virtual Directory

How can I return a list of the directory names in a virtual directory?
For example: If you open the directory below in your browser, I would
like to return an array to my ASP.Net app with all of the directory
names found (batters/, gid_2006_06_20_anamlb_sfnmlb_1/, etc.).

The example you gave looks well formed. Maybe you could parse it as XML
against a custom stylesheet that will strip out the hyperlinks within <li>
elements and then you could bind the resulting XML file in your code.
