I have 3 (maybe more) web applications which has the same login.aspx,
menu.aspx and content.master pages. But since these are 3 different web
applications I have 3 copies of the same code. Also, these websites have the
same code in the app_code folder as well.
Question - is there a way to share the .aspx files between these web
applications without making copies? These three web apps have a different
release cycles. The code in the app_code and code behind can be put into a
common class library and that can be shared. But I still will have to make
copies of the .aspx files and the .master files. Is there a way I can avoid
this?
Another way was to have a top level virtual with folders for each web app. I
ran into compilation and deployment issues with the different teams working
on each web app.
Any ideas and help?
Thanks
