What i'm trying to do should be simple (and if I was to use an SQL component
it would be - but that's not the point!)....
I have a DetailsView which is on a web form which is only used in insert
mode (to add new records). So, the form is shown, the user enters the new
details, includes an image file (using a file upload), clicks submit. Then
the form is re-displayed empty ready for the next.
Now... when the form is submitted, I need to move the image, then update the
newly inserted record with the new image path (i've got the file move
cracked ok).
How can I do the record update?
I can't see anywhere in ObjectDataSource where I can do this. I have tried
adding new methods to my TableAdapter, but I can't see any way of calling
these methods.
Am I missing something?
