weblog tool

Hey

Instead of creating a whole application, isnt there an application out
there i can use instead.

I want a weblog attached to my site like http://www.mysite.com/blog.

I was looking at radio from userland, but it seems like i need a
password to their site and at the same time they are hosting thes ite
when i publish it. This is not what i want.

Any help on where to look will be greatly appreciated.

You can install the Community Server : http://communityserver.org/

If you are not interested in the Forums and/or Gallery,
you can disable them and just run the blog.

You can also install Presstopia :
