ASP.NET and WebMarshal

Hi peeps

Okay, I have created an Intranet for a client. It's been working fine for
months.

They recently decided to install WebMarshal (it tracks internet usage). This
seemed to go smoothly, although were getting a lot of weird errors.

Things like pages not loading, WebMarshal unable to resolve host errors,
saying that it can only accept one request at a time, etc.

All copies of IE are set to use a Proxy server (WebMarshall) and to Bypass
proxy for local addresses. However, WebMarshal is running on the same server
as IIS.

If we turn the "Use proxy server off" on IE, it works fine, put it back in
(even with Bypass) and we get strange errors.

Does anyone know what's going on? Could the server be shoving IIS through
the proxy cos it's on the same machine? How can it not be bypassing, etc etc?!

Help!!! We currently have no intranet and a very grumpy IT person (he blames
my intranet, even though I can prove it works fine!!).

Cheers
Dan
