a postback reloads the page in the browser, so basically its a new page as
far as the browser is concerned. in the codebehind you can write out client
script to reinit the javascript variable.

I am storing a value into a javascript variable that was keyed into a text
control. When the code performs a postback, the value that was stored into
a
clientside variable no longer exists. Is there anything I can do, to not
lose
that value in the clientside variable when a postback is performed?
