Ajay,
Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do. It's a security no-no
for JavaScript to launch programs outside the browser. It's up to the
browser to determine how to display the page and since the browser is set to
display HTML text documents it won't get passed to another helper app. In a
nutshell this is something that can't be done, and chances are if you could
find a trick on how to do it the user's browser security setting would
probably negate it anyways. You could always consider using a browser based
HTML editor to edit the page instead, there are some excellent ones on the
market and some are even free such as:

I am not talking about the IE feature as it has tool bar which opens the
