Hi I have a problem with a customer's XML being submitting to me in a
non-well-format XML.
They said that there are 18 other partners who has been able to tweak the
XML to make it work.
So I guess here is my question, in ASP, when working with XML, how do you
handle non-well-formed XML documents on the "listener" response side?

Hi,
I was wondering what's the point of "finally" is in a try..catch..finally
block?
Isn't it the same to put the code that would be in the "finally" section
right after the try/catch block? (ie, forget the finally block and just end
the try/catch and put the code after the try/catch block).
Or does the "finally" construct add some additional functionality?

I have a scenario where I log a resquest to a database table and update the
request with a corresponding response including the response time. I am using
an HttpModule to do this.
My challenge is how to corelate the response to a corresponding request. I
am looking for a sure proof threadsafe way to corelate a response to a
coresponding request message.

It seems you cannot through an httpmodule alter request.headers. Is there a
way around this (sure.. it works fine in isapi of course). It doesn't seem to
have been changed in asp.net 2.0 either. Any workaround?

a connection using a loop on the web server. I know those of you
familiar with how IIS/asp.net (aspnet_isapi.dll) handles

I have a problecm with the AJAX request in my webpage. I have some
filters on top of the page. I have a submit button and an empty div
below the filters.
Some of the filters have ajax requests to update the content within the

Hi all,
have a 'money' field in the SQL 2000 table that users enter 200 (for example
which represents £2.00) without the decimal point, what I need is to have a
command or something that adds the decimal point before the last 2 digits,
so user enters 200 and the value stored in the table is 2.00 bearing in mind
that this value could be anything from 1.00 to 50.00.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
