Problem getting web application project support with VS 2005

I have VS 2005 professional. Here is the version info:

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Version 8.0.50727.762 (SP .050727-7600)
© 2005 Microsoft Corporation.
All rights reserved.

When I try to create a new project, I don't have a web application
project option. In the New Project window, I select Visual C# under
Project types, and on the right side, I only have the following
installed templates:

Windows Application
Windows Control Library
Crystal Reports Application
Class Library
Console Application
WindowsApplicat ion

See? There is no web application project.

I am aware that I need to install some service pack. So, I downloaded
the

Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Team Suite Service Pack 1

from

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/asp.net/aa336618.aspx

The downloaded file is

VS80sp1-KB926601-X86-ENU.exe

and it has 442035KB in size.

I tried twice to install it, but it takes forever, and failed in the
end, saying that the setup failed to create a temp folder because I
have limited space on my C drive. Well, I just checked I still have
2.4G free space on my C drive, isn't this big enough?

Is there any shortcut/easier way to get web application project
support for VS2005?

Thanks.

Installing VS2005 SP1 is your option.

Clear out as much space as you can, and try again.

But you won't get what you want until you get it installed.

Put the .exe file in a very short foldername as well.
C:\SPs\
or something like that. It probably doesn't need to be that short, but
don't start it from
C:\folder1\fold er2\folder3\fol der4\folder5\fo lder6\folder7\f older8\folder9\ WayTooManySubFo lders\

That's just a gut feeling, nothing concrete. I know installing from long
winded unc names could hurt you as well.

We have two separate DLLs that do not interact (directly, at least). One is an MFC extension DLL that was built back in VC++ 6 days (but has been recompiled with VS2005). Both DLLs specify 'Use MFC in a shared DLL'. Since we have an old VC 6 application (large) that we...

All: I am having a problem with Microsoft Reporting Services. I am running a local report (RDLC) on ASP.Net. Running the report obviously can use a lot of memory because it must consume ADO.Net. So, if I run the report over and over, I will eventually get an...
