I have a problem with basic authentication.
I redirect a user from a page to another.
I don't want to get the NT prompt login, I want the user to be logged in
automatically.
I want to send the username/password to the page.
I have read something about cookies and sending username/password through
the header.
With the new Windows Update 832894 it is no longer possible to use

I applogize for posting this a second time (I posted in the
access-multiuser group as well), but this group seems to respond more
rapidly, and I have been trying to figure this out for what seems like
forever.
I have the Access 2002 Developer's Handbook, and I am trying to learn

I've managed to write an ASP.NET v2 web page where the prompt to save the
password doesn't appear :-( Not sure why it's not working. Autocomplete on
the text boxes is working but when you enter username, password (text box
with type = password) and click the login link button, IE doesn't popup "Do
you want to save this password?".
The setting is turned on in IE7 as I've just cleared all my forms and
passwords and gone to a couple of web...

I have an existing ADE (Access Data Project compiled) project that has been in use in a production environment for nearly 3 years, and has been working great. It's been working so great, in fact, that my client is asking me to look at porting it over to another take the place of another system.
In going through their requirements, one line caught my attention. The current port of the project uses the Windows NT Authentication method to...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
