Hi,
I am creating a stored procedure which contains an output parameter.
Though the procedure is getting compiled properly I am not able to
execute it from within SQL Server Management Studio and also through
an aspx page. I keep getting empty output (not null)
The code:
Create procedure LoginUser
@cust_Password varbinary,
@cust_name varchar,
@cust_id int output
AS
BEGIN
SELECT @cust_id=Id from Customer where Name=@cust_name and
Password=@cust_ Password;
END
How can I retreive the value @cust_id ? 2 1027

ComboBox databindng Problem
== How the ComboBox is setup and used:
My comboBox is populated by a lookup table. The ValueMember is the
lookup table's Id and the DisplayMember is the text from a
corresponding field in the lookup table. In my data table we store the
ID in what I will call the 'key' field.

Hello!
I use a procedure to insert a new row into a table with an identity
column. The procedure has an output parameter which gives me the
inserted identity value. This worked well for a long time. Now the
identity value is over 700.000 and I get errors whiles retrieving the
inserted identitiy value. If I delete rows and reset the identity
everything works well again. So I think it is a data type problem.
My Procedure:

HI All,
Can't quite get my head aorund this problem. My knowledge or more
importantly my experience of using T-SQL is small and as a consequence
my stored procedures are basic.
My current project involves simple stored_procs searching/retrieving
Legacy data. Key problem is that in the case of the 'Job' table, the
'Job Number' is an alphanumeric value. Here is the current stored
procedure:

Hi all,
I posted this question in the sqlserver.newusers group but I am not getting
any response there so I am going to try it on the fine folks here:).
I inherited some legacy ASP codes in my office. The original code's backend
is using the SQL Server 2000 and I am testing to use it on the Express
edition.
And I run into the following problem.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
