I have a windows form application that generates a request, downloads an image, and waits the user
to enter in login info. Unfortunately, this image is dynamic and based on session data. I have
read documents on the CookieCollection property of HttpWebRequest. Currently, I have the
functionality in my code to be able to accept cookies, and...

In pages that there is no content length, how does HttpWebResponse
knows where the page ends? And what kind of objects/methods does it
retrieve? Does it only retrieve the initial page without any images,
i.e., does it only makes one "GET / HTTP/1.1\r\n\r\n"?
Because I'm doing some projects on a webclient (to measure some
statistic times)...

I add several JavaScript events (onchange, onkeypress, etc.) to Controls
using the Add method of the Attributes collection. However, if the
JavaScript code contains certain characters, such as & or < or several
others, it converts them to html, such as & or < which can sometimes
cause my scripts not to work. How can I prevent ASP.NET from...

Hi,
I have been working on this code now, well about 5 lines, for 3 days now and I am completely baffled. I have an ASP.NET page whch takes in variables and using them variables pings them to a web service. I call this web service using a HTTPRequest and HTTPResponse. However, the code keeps breaking on the line HTTPResponse and I get a timeout...

I'm attempting to test an aspx module that will receive XML data from a web service (the receiver module). I want to be able to test this portion before attempting to create the Web Service that will generate the POST to this module. The "poster module" works fine but when I try to get the response back from the receiver module I get a "(500)...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
