SQL Membership Provider: email as username?

Hello,

Is there a way to configure the ASP.NET SQL Membership provider to
force/allow the username to be the email address?

Thanks,

Hello,

I just ran across this post: Replacing Username with Email

http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups...xp=&sloc=en-us

This is a pretty easy way to accomplish my goal. However, if you have any
other tricks or recommendations , please let me know.

Thanks,
