Hello,
I can't get the ASPNET-Account installed on a Windows 2000 (5.00.2195) Server SP4 Domain Controller.
I always receive "Web Server not running ASP.NET version 1.1" when I try to start a APS.NET WebApplication.
"I tried aspnet_regiis.exe -i", I tried to re-install fw v1.1, but the account ASPNET won't get installed.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

We are building an ASP.Net application that uses a certficate in the local
machine store to sign XML data before transmitting it to a third-party. The
third party application was getting an "invalid signature" error upon
verification of the signature in our Test environments. I thought perhaps
our Production (www) certificate version was being used instead, so I
exported it from the Production server and...

Just wondering if anyone has aspnet process recycling set up in any
production environments. Our worker process memory gets out of control
after being up for about a day or so and we were thinking about setting up
some thresholds on memory usage.
Any experiences using this would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Hello All,
ASP.NET has stopped working on my development server. I've read the
various posts re this subject, but my circumstances seem unique. I
need to know what causes the problem and how to remedy it. If possible
I would prefer not to rebuild the server, as the SQL setup is quite
involved, and I'd prefer not to add the ASPNET account to the local
administrators group since that defeats the point of having the ASPNET
account.

private key in the local machine store. (we are testing it both on
windows 2000 & 2003)
We failed accessing the private key of the certificate and as we tried
to figure out what is the problem we came across the following

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
