RangeValidator < 0 not working

Here's my RangeValidator

<asp:RangeValid ator ID="RangeValida tor1" runat="server"
ControlToValida te="txtSVDV" ErrorMessage="R angeValidator" MaximumValue="0 "
MinimumValue="-100" Type="Double">M ake it < 0</asp:RangeValida tor></td>

My value for txtSVDV is ".015" and the validator is invoking. Any idea why?
I have the type set to Double.

Thanks!

I've configured a RangeValidator control on a WebForm, using ASP.NET, and have set the type to string, the max value to 100, and min value to 1, however, the control to validate always throws an error, regardless of the length of the string. For example... <asp:textbox id="txtQuestion" runat="server" Width="400px" MaxLength="100" Height="50px" TextMode="MultiLine" CssClass="text1"></asp:textbox> <asp:RangeValidator...

This seems simple enough but why can't I get it to check the input BETWEEN the two ranges I specify? If I set the Min value to 1 and the Max to 10, it will ONLY validate 1 OR 10....not 2 thru 9. Weird? I must be doing something wrong. TIA. My test page: http://www.drumpub.com/test.aspx

Hi, when I try to set the Minimum Date on a RangeValidator to 01.01.0001 I get an error, that 01.01.0001 can not be converted to a date. But the DateType can be 01.01.0001. Convert.ToDateTime("01.01.0001") works. So why can't I set the Minimum of the RangeValidator to that Date? I have the same Problem with the Maximun Value. If I try to set that let's say to the 31th December 9999 it will give me an error. You can reproduce this...

Hi all, I have a RangeValidator that is not working correctly - it is always returning a isValid = False. The Javascript is returning this as well as on the server side. My RangeValidator validators a control called CampaignID. In the debugger I've verified there is a control called CampaignID and there is a valid set .... however the RangeValidator still returns not valid.

I'm trying to get a rangevalidator to work. Normally this is easy, but here I'm trying to make the rangevalidator check a range that is from variables. Here is the code. Its simple, but it doesn't work. Any help is appreciated. <ASP:TextBox id="Kings" Text="0" Columns="4" MaxLength="4" runat="server" /> <ASP:RangeValidator id="KingsRange" runat="server"

Hi, I'm working in a team developing an international website. When I set the page's CultureInfo to Hungarian (hu-HU) then the RangeValidator doesn't seem to be able to parse a TextBox's date value (Exception message see below) correctly. The TextBox's value is coming from the DateTime.Now.ToShortDateString() function, so it's an original .NET value.

I have a range validator on my field to make sure it is a double. No matter what I put in the field, it always comes back false. Why? <asp:rangevalidator id="valgMessageMin" runat="server" CssClass="Error" ControlToValidate="txtMessageMin" ErrorMessage="Must be a Number" ForeColor=" " Type="Double"></asp:rangevalidator>

I have a simple textbox where a user can enter a numeric value. The RangeValidator works perfectly well to determine if the value is a number of whatever type I specify AND to determine if the value sits between the min and max values I specify. However, if the user enters a valid number within the specified range, but enters it in scientific notation, the RangeValidator doesn't recognize it as a valid number.

Hi, I have a composited control with a Textbox and a Rangevalidator. If I am not mistaken, Rangevalidator should take currency ($) symbol, but I got the validation error when user enter -$100 in the text box. It will succeed if -100. So I tried add a property called "MoneyValue", return a Decimal only value and use , hopping RangeValidator

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
