Hello,
I am using ASP.NET 2.0. What I have done is nested a gridview inside
another column of a gridview using a template data field column
declaritively in my web form. Inside this child gridview I have set an
ItemStyle property of width 20% for the first templated field which
contains a hyperlink control, and an ItemStyle of width 80% for the
second templated field which contains a label. Both of these controls
are databound to...

Greetings,
I have a gridview which is sitting on a multi view control (witin a view),
and it is bound to a dataset which I dynamically apply to the control within
asp.net page. The problem is that I can't seem to resize my dataview's
columns which are auto generated. Is there a way to do this? I have tried
several different things, but I can't seem to get at the column collection to
change the widths?

I'm setting the column with for a gridview (25+- columns) and have
paging turned on.
When the gridview is first displayed, the column widths are all set to
the default. But after paging to another page, the widths are set as
they should be.
Going back to page one, the widths are still correct.
Not a clue what's going on here!

Hi People,
Just wondered how you guys deal with the complex issue of CSS Styles for
Complex server controls like the GridView.
I know its a breeze to set up the styles for AlternatingRowStyles etc etc,
but when it comes to styles for column widths, this is going to change for
every grid you have in your application.
Just wondering if anyone bothers with CSS for GridView other than setting

I need to dynamically create a set of bound fields contained in a
GridView control. I also have a single static CommandField that I can
declare in the Columns <tagof the GridView control. I have to add
controls dynamically as I am trying to write a reusable , general ,
spreadsheet like display control that can take advantage of the built-
in update and delete features of the SqlDataSource/Gridview controls.
This user control can get its...

I'm having trouble making this work. Here is the code I use to create the

'Create a new data table
m_dsTable = New Data.DataTable
m_dsTable.Columns.Add("Name", System.Type.GetType("System.String"), "")
m_dsTable.Columns.Add("URL", System.Type.GetType("System.String"), "")
'Add two new command fields to select and delete

Repost as no reply from dotnet.Framework.ASPNet
I have a GridView with autogenerated columns and I programatically set the
width and visibility of each column. The code executes correctly as with the
debugger I can see the widths and visibility set to the correct values.
However although the columns obey the Visibility property correctly they
ignore the width property.
i have done this by changing the widths on each control and also by...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
