Repeat Request: Knowing When the Crystal Report Viewer performs a Print on an ASP Page

How can I determine if a report in the Crystal Report Viewer on an ASP page
has been printed by the user? It's important to know the difference between
someone just viewing a report, and actually printing it.

In olde days (e.g. VB6) I could hide the print button on the on the report
viewer itself, put my own print button on the screen, and log the print
action at the same time I called the Print method for the viewer myself.
This new and improved CR Report Viewer XI R2 for ASP, however, doesn't
appear to have
either a Print method to call, or a Report_Printed event to handle the fact
that the report was just printed.

Thanks!

Hi! there, I am currently working on web-based reports using crystal reports.NET 2003 and I am new to this reporting tool. I notice that the WEB forms report viewer toolbar does not include the 'PRINT' button, in which users can specify the print layout - portrait or landscape. Does anybody know how to add a 'PRINT' button to the web forms report viewer toolbar? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hi Again, Forgive me for posting this again, but old items seem to get little review. I thought I could adjust the viewer properties without any further aid from the NG, but I was wrong. When I print my reports to a file or directly to the printer, the orientation is landscape. This was set in the report itself using Designer | Printer Setup and setting the printer to landscape. When I send the report to the viewer, using the...

We've got an old VB6 application which has 9 Crystal Reports it can print. These 9 reports are considered by our users to be in essence one "report", in the sense that they are all related and they cannot make their business plans without all 9 reports. However, they really are 9 separate reports, 7 of which have sub-reports in them. One of my colleagues has been working on converting them from the VB6 app, to .RPT files which can be...

Hi all, I'm trying to generate a simple crystal report without a database. Several people mention the use of a dataset. Someone mention in a msdn forum that I could use the SetParameterValue to easily fill the fields in a simple report. So. I looked at datasets and I think I'll try this way first. I'm pretty new and I still don't understand much of this stuff. So. here is what I did . and it is not working :-(. 1.-create new windows...

Hello All, I am displaying a report in a gridview and also in a separte html table. When the user clicks a print button, I print the report (from gridview or from html table). But I want to repeat the gridview's header and the html table header row in all printed pages. The print for grid and html table is done separately. Can someone tell me how to make the header print in all pages? Thanks

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
