Set to Release version?

Hi,

When using VS.NET 2005 for ASP.NET I can see that there is only "Debug"
options at the "Solution Configurations" list box where at Windows Forms
Application there is also "Release" option.

How can I set my ASP.NET application to build as "Release"?

Thanks,
Asaf

Hi everybody I'm working with a project in embedded Visual Studio 4 and I have a general problem which I hope that somebody can help me with. My problem is the following: My project works fine in debug version but behaves strangely and sometimes crashes when I run it in release version. I suspect that it is some sort of memory problem but it is not that easy to find out what the problem exactly is (the project is rather big with maybe...

Hi I'm about to upload my site and I have switched to release version. Is that enough or do I still need to disable <compilation defaultLanguage="vb" debug="true" /> the debug="true" in the .pdb file? Is the .pdb necessary for the release version? Thanks a bunch. Dara

Since I need to dotfuscate my exe file anyway, does it make any difference if I use Debug or Release versions. Would a Debug version be easier to decompile/study/reverse engineer than a Release version, both having been dotfuscated by the standard dotfuscator of visual studio 2003 ? Tia

I have searched the Internet... but haven't found much relating to this. I am wondering on what the best practices are for migrating a developmemnt database to a release database. Here is the simplest example of my situation (real world would be more complex). Say you have two versions of your application. A release version and a development version. After a month of developing you are ready to release a new version. There have...

On behalf of the Python development team and the Python community, I'm announcing the release of Python 2.3.6 (release candidate 1). Python 2.3.6 is a security bug-fix release. While Python 2.5 is the latest version of Python, we're making this release for people who are still running Python 2.3. Unlike the recently released 2.4.4, this release only contains a small handful of security-related bugfixes. See the website for more.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
