I've search around endlessly for a solution to this problem but have
not found anything yet.
I'm using Crystal 9 with .NET. I am not using a DSR to create the
report. Instead I am creating a report at run-time, using a .ttx file
and using a DataSet as the source.
My problem is that I want to dynamically change an image (user's pic)
on the report based on the user parameter.

First, this is _not_ a question about how to get Crystal Reports to run
on a client machine. I've got all the merge modules added to the project
and it's working fine. The question is about distributing my .RPT files.
1) Initial Setup Project inclusion of .rpt files:

Hi,
I'm hoping this is relatively easy.
I have a report based on a query - when you run the report, a form
opens up and you are prompted for a date range. These are combo boxes
(ie. January 2003, February 2003, etc). The combo boxes display the
date field but the field that is actually sent back to the query is
the corresponding identifier (ie. 1 for January 2003, 2 for February
2003) etc.

I put a textbox on my report and put the following property for it:
=!!.Value
This displays 1 (for January 2003).
How do I get it to display January 2003 instead of 1? Thanks!

In my win form, I'm trying to display a Crystal report with the data in my
dataset only but, if I follow the steps in this msdn page:

it always displays all the data regardless of the Select statement I run.

Iam facing a problem with crystal reports in dotnet. i am trying to
use crystal reports with csv files.i have successfully provided the
database details (csv filename and path)and all report fields in my
*.rpt file. But at runtime when i associate the report document
(Sample.rpt) with Crystal report Viewer, a DATABASE LOGIN screen is
coming up asking for username and password, but this specific csv file
doesn't have any security...

query or report? For example, if I set up a parameter to search all
entries in my table, is there a way to have the search terms I entered

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
