'System.Web.Adm inistration.Web AdminRemotingMa nager'

'System.Web.Adm inistration.Web AdminRemotingMa nager' in Assembly
'App_Code.1hpl8 upp

Everytime I click the ASP Configuration button with VS2K5 this ERROR-RIDDEN
file is created in the
C:\WINDOWS\Micr osoft.NET\Frame work\v2.0.50727 \Temporary ASP.NET
Files\asp.netwe badminfiles\9d4 caaa4\c2ae7372 directory; regardless of
whether I'm in a new project or old.

Does anyone know if I'm going to have to uninstall and reinstall Visual
Studio to rid myself of this problem:
('System.Web.Ad ministration. We bAdminRemotingM anager' in Assembly
'App_Code.1hpl8 upp, Version=0.0.0.0 , Culture=neutral , PublicKeyToken= null'
is not marked as serializable.]),

which creates this error: Unable to serialize the session state. In
'StateServer' and 'SQLServer' mode, ASP.NET will serialize the session state
objects, and as a result non-serializable objects orMarshalByRef objects are
not permitted. The same restriction applies if similar serialization is done
by the custom session state store in 'Custom' mode.

Thanks.

The answer is no, re-installing VS did not resolve the issue.

Should there be a specific reference to
'System.Web.Adm inistration.Web AdminRemotingMa nager' in the webconfig file?
There isn't in mine.

Hi All, For the past few months I have been working on an open source Apache/PHP/MySQL content management system - and have recently made it available for download. It's still very much a work in progress (current release version is 0.4.6), but you should get a very good idea of what it's about by visiting the site (which uses it, funnily enough), or downloading a copy of it and trying it out.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, but I am in the process of trying to find a Web Hosting/Isp Billing system that is reasonable in price and uses Access or SQL Server for a backend DB. I have found a couple that seem to do what I want, but are using FILEMAKER for their DB. Looking for something that will handle reoccuring billing as well as per project billing. Keeping up with client info, etc.... Also needs to...

I am trying to deploy a simple web application to my client's production server, but it's not clear to me how MS planned on having the Security users managed without Studio. Certainly someone has run into this issue. How do you manage users (the ones you would normally manage with the Web Site Administration Tool) without Studio to get you to the Web Site Administration Tool ? Thanks for your help!

Hi there, We have been looking for some time now for a database system that can fit a large distributed computing project, but we haven't been able to find one. I was hoping that someone can point us in the right direction or give us some advice. Here is what we need. Mind you, these are ideal requirements so we do not expect to find something that fits entirely into what we need

I am a long-time user of Perl who comes to you in peace and is evaluating different scripting languages for use as a scripting platform for system administrators on the Windows platform. Perl already has many modules that allow sys admins and devolpers to do lots of things with the Windows OS, and I'm wondering what the state of the art is with Python and being able to control and administer a windows environment. In this regard, how does...

I'm giving a talk at LISA this year, and while the slides are ready I would like to go armed with as many examples of good system administration code as possible. If you have a favorite administration tool that you wouldn't mind me using I'd love to know about it. Feel free to email me personally or submit via the list. regards Steve

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
