Hi folks,
When I set the datasource of a dropdown list and bind it, the drop down list
always defaults to the first item in the list. I need it to default to
Nothing or NULL or whatever it is now in .NET.
The situation I've got is a group of combo boxes that interelate. So if you

On an ASP.NET page I have a drop down list control. When the user pulls
down the list and makes a selection, I perform validation, and if the
validation fails I want the selected item in the drop down box to go back to
what the value was before the user tried to change it, but at that point I

I have a drop down menu which has a list of subcategories and the
initial value is "please choose a Subcategory". When the user chooses a
subcategory they are taken to a new page where the drop down list shows
the selected subcategory in the menu. So far that is working.
The problem is that when the list is showing the subcategory on the
second page there are now two of that item in the list and the initial

I need to select multiple entries in the drop down list.
E.g. Search a string in languages like C#, VB, Java etc. These entries
are in drop down. So i need to multi select to search in multiple
languages
1. One of the option could be to have a check box beside each entry in
drop down. Do any one have an idea how to do this. Solution in C# is

intended to show a list of available tables in the selected DSN. I
have put code in the control's DropDown event handler to clear the
item list and reload it from the currently specified DSN (in a Text
Box control on the same form). This works well.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
