Problem reading ATOM Feed.

Hi,

I'm creating a ASP.net page to read different feeds. The reader works fine
for RSS 1.0 and 2.0 feeds but breaks when I try to read some ATOM feeds..

for example...
http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheGlobeAndMail-Business

and I get the following error.
Cannot add a column named 'link': a nested table with the same name already
belongs to this DataTable.

I don't understand whats going wrong?

Plz help.

I have been setting up RSS and Atom feeds for our library's podcasts. The RSS feed works fine, but when I subscribe to the Atom feed (via Bloglines), the link to the file itself defaults to blogspot.com. Any help would be appreciated. The full contents of southlakelibrary.atom are listed below: <atom:feed xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"> <atom:id>http://www.cityofsouthlake.com/library/podcasts.asp</atom:id>

Does anyone know how I would get rid of the...

Hi! I've spend this weekend trying and coding a php-based atom- and rss-feed writer. I don't know if this is the right place for my questions. However, since both feeds are based on xml, maybe someone can help. I understand that I have to replace all unknown entities, such as "&auml;". I wonder what's the common way to do so. For XML-Documents, I'd prefer to make use of an external DTD, say, referring to

Hi, I'm looking for RSS/ATOM generator I can use in Python. I searched on pypi and the other places but I couldn't find any options on this. (I found many parsers, though) Is there any de-fact standard RSS/ATOM generator? (especially, I'd like to create Atom's) Do I have to do it myself from scratch? Thanks in advance.

I'm new to XML namespaces, and I seem to be missing something obvious in this code snippet, which is trying to retrieve the feed/entry nodes from an XPathNavigator document: XmlNamespaceManager mgr = new XmlNamespaceManager(xpNav.NameTable); mgr.AddNamespace("atom", "http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"); XPathExpression itemsExpr = xpNav.Compile("/atom:feed/ atom:entry/");

Hi I've got a xml file and xsd with only one namespace - xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss". When I'm getting the rss feed for example from Youtube there're also others namespaces such as xmlns:atom or xmlns:yt. When I'm trying to validate this Xml with my xsd the validationeventhandler show me only the first error. But what when we got xml file like: <channel> <atom:idIdent </atom:id>

Which XML parser would be best for building an on-line RSS/Atom reader? I know for starters there's PHP's DOMDocument and SimpleXML, then there's XMLReader and PEAR's XML_Feed_Parser, and then there is also some standalone stuff like Zend_Feed of the Zend Framework or Magpie RSS. So there's really a lot of solutions and some help on deciding which one to pick would be really appreciated. Ideally, the parsing tool should be easy to...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
