CreateUserWizar d

Hi

How can I disable the UserName option in the CreateUserWizar d and use
the Email instead of UserName.

At the least how can I pass @Email as a parameter to the Stored
Procedure for Creating a new user so that I can enter it instead of
@UserName.

As far as I know, Username is required. If you'd like to use the email for
the username, then just convert the control to a template and change the
label from "UserName" to "Email".

Thanks for your reply. I got another solution

Hide the UserName textbox, remove the RequireFieldVal idator for
username.
And inserting the Email as username through code as follows

protected void CreateUserWizar d1_CreatingUser (object sender,
LoginCancelEven tArgs e)
{
CreateUserWizar d1.UserName = CreateUserWizar d1.Email.ToStri ng();
}
}

I am trying, as I can see many are, to avoid the CreateUserWizard's CreateUser step from creating the user until I am ready to do it. I have a rather complex registration because I have various different types of registration, one for organizations (in which they provide alot of profile data on their organization) and individuals. I would like to share the CreateUser page of the CreateUserWizard but not allow it to create the actual user....

I'm trying to setup a web site that uses active directory for user authentication under asp.net 2.0. For testing, I have separately installed two virtual servers. Hi! I have a CreateUserWizard control with the usual suspects of validators. As you're probably aware, each validator is associated with one of CreateUserWizard's child controls. When a user clicks on the Create User button on the first page, validation occurs with javascript turning on a ValidationSummary, so no postback occurs. For accessibility reasons, I would like the page to be posted back so screen readers would be able to find...

I am using ASP.NET's CreateUserWizard control. I want to force the visitor to use a username and e-mail address that I am providing in programming, and I do not want the visitor to be able to edit the forms input. I am aware that I can roll my own Create User form by using the membership API, but I am lazy and want to use most of the CreateUserWizard control's features. I tried converting the form to a template and setting the UserName...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
