When trapping unhandled errors in a web page via the Page_Error or
Application_Error event procedures is it possible to get the line number on
which the error occured? When not using custom error pages the default
error page displays the line number that the error occured on. Since this
page is not displayed I have no idea what the error actually is. The stack
trace usually isn't very helpful in determining what line caused the error

Hi;
This is a two part question. The first is we hit a case where a user on
Windows 2003 installed .NET and IIS, but not the IIS .NET extensions. How can
we programatically check for this so we can have our setup program tell the
user this is a problem? And is there a way to then install this ourselves?
Second, when out ASP.NET app is installed and won't run - is there a way to
run some program or look in one place that will tell us...

hi,
i have put my web.sitemap in /App_Data so i can edit it programatically via
a web admin page, inheriting the modify permissions from the App_Data folder
etc.
i was hoping the provider would simply persist any changes i made, but it
doesn't happen.
e.g. selected.ParentNode.ChildNodes.Remove(selected);
throws a NotSupportedException "Collection is read-only"

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
