Return Value

Hi,

I am having problems with the returnValue from a showModalDialog .

The value is not returned to the parent form and the the values in the
other text fields in the parent form are emptied.
Here is my code:
Parent Page:
Button4.Attribu tes.Add("onclic k", "var strReturn;
strReturn=windo w.showModalDial og('TimeSelecto r.aspx',
null,'status:no ;dialogWidth:34 0px;dialogHeigh t:310px;dialogH ide:true;help:n o;scroll:no');i f
(strReturn != null)
document.getEle mentById('FromT ime').Text=strR eturn;")

Child Page:
Private Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As
System.EventArg s) Handles MyBase.Load
Button1.Attribu tes.Add("onclic k", "window.returnV alue =
document.getEle mentById('TimeS elected').Text; window.close(); ")
End Sub

What should I do??

I am trying to set up a class to handle my database accesses. I can't seem to figure out how to get the return value from my dataReader from these routines (most of which I got elsewhere). They do work pretty well, except for the change I made to get the return value. For example, I have the following: ********************************************************************** Public Overloads Function RunProcedure( _ ByVal storedProcName...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
